RISIKO INVESTASI SAHAM SECOND LINER DENGAN TAIL VALUE AT RISK

    Get PDF
This pandemic which has been going on for almost a year, is very influential in all fields. Economic growth and investment in all countries have been declined dramatically.  Indonesian Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) as an indicator of stock performance in Indonesia is weakening. Big caps stocks, which are usually the main driver for domestic bourses, fell sharply uncontrollably. However, second liner stocks managed to hold down the CSPI throughout 2020. This condition made many investors switch to stocks in this group. Low prices and high profit potential are attractive considerations. But high price fluctuations make investing riskier. Tail Value at Risk (T-VaR) as a measure of risk in a bad situation is the right measure so that investors can estimate the worst possibility and a larger reserve fund. The purpose of this study is to measure the investment risk in second liner stocks based on T-VaR. The six stocks of Pefindo 25 Index indicate that at a 95% significance level, the investment risk in second liner stocks will be in the range 6,14% - 8,22% of the investment

Analisis Data Panel untuk Menguji Pengaruh Risiko terhadap Return Saham Sektor Farmasi dengan Least Square Dummy Variable

Panel data analysis is a method of studying pooling observations on a cross-section of subjects over several time periods. There are several types of panel data analytic models, constant coefficients models, fixed effects models, and random effects models. Fixed effects models would have constant slopes but intercepts that differ according to the cross-sectional (group) unit. While the intercept is cross-section (group) specific, it may or may not differ over time. To show how to test for the presence of statistically significant group and/or time effects, i-1 dummy variables are used to designate the particular group, so we use Least Squares Dummy Variable method. In this paper, we use this method for testing the relationship between risk and stock return at farmation sector data in Indonesia for the time period 2007-2008. The empirical results showed that the model is statistically significant time effects

Integrated Vertical Photobioreactor System for Carbon Dioxide Removal Using Phototrophic Microalgae

    Get PDF
A vertical photobioreactor containing the microalgae Scenedesmus obliquus is a highly efficient system for converting carbon dioxide (CO2) into biomass. The use of photobioreactor for CO2 mitigation has been explored using microalgae as photosynthetic microorganism. The growth rate (m, h-1) were 0.03; 0.13; 0.20; 0.09 at treatment of 0%, 2%, 5% and 7% pure CO2 supplied, respectively during 16 days experiment. The maximum dried biomass (gr ml-1) was 1.7 at 2% pure CO2. The highest CO2 removal effiency (%) was 34 at 2% pure CO2 supply. The results showed that the photobioreactor gave a high efficiency of CO2 removal by phototrophic microalgae culture

In this contribution, new chromosome data regarding two taxonomically critical genera of the Italian fora, namely Plantago and Sesleria, are presented. All the specimens analysed in this paper were collected in the Italian territory and include three chromosome counts for Plantago (P. albicans, P. crassifolia, and P. subulata) and two counts for Sesleria (S. caerulea and S. nitida)

Framing national REDD+ benefits, monitoring, governance and finance: A comparative analysis of seven countries

    Get PDF
This article analyzes how and with what possible consequences REDD+ is framed in the national policy arena in Cameroon, Indonesia, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Tanzania, and Vietnam. It analyzes the most prominent views and storylines around key REDD+ design features among policy actors and in policy documents. We focus on storylines related to four questions, namely: (1) What should REDD+ achieve: carbon or also non-carbon objectives? (2) Who should monitor REDD+ outcomes: only technical experts or also local communities? (3) At what level should REDD+ be governed: at national or sub-national level? and (4) How should REDD+ be financed: through market- or fund-based sources? The vast majority of policy actors and policy documents frame REDD+ as a mechanism that should also realize non-carbon benefits, yet non-carbon monitoring receives very little attention. In all but one country, policy documents contain plans to involve local communities in the design and/or execution of measuring, reporting and verifying REDD+ outcomes. With regard to the level at which REDD+ should be governed, while most policy documents contain elements of a nested approach to accounting, almost all countries envision a long-term transition to national accounting and benefit distribution. We found strikingly little discussion among policy actors and in policy documents of how to finance REDD+ and acquire results-based payments. In the conclusion we reflect on possible consequences of the prominence of REDD+ storylines in the seven countries, and argue that carbonization and centralization of forest governance are possible outcomes given the limited attention to non-carbon monitoring and the envisioned centralized approaches to REDD+

In order to improve the floristic knowledge of the Italian territory, we report the inventory of the taxa collected during the annual field trip of the working group for Floristics, Systematics and Evolution of the Italian Botanical Society held in 2015 in eastern Irpinia and Vulture-Melfese area (South Italy). The investigated territories are located in southern Apennines, along the border between the Campania and Basilicata administrative regions. These areas are scarcely known in terms of vascular flora. The floristic samplings were performed in 19 sites selected as representative of the local environmental diversity as regards to climate, litho-morphology and land-use. The research led to the identification of 4,137 specimens of vascular plants, belonging to 815 species and subspecies, 399 genera, and 85 families. Among these taxa, 42 were endemic to Italy, 38 were included in the IUCN Red List of the Italian Flora, 28 were alien and 5 were cryptogenic in Campania and/ or Basilicata administrative regions. Two taxa, Aquilegia coerulea (casual alien, native to North America) and Lolium ×boucheanum (native), were found to be new for Italy. On the basis of the available floristic literature the first one is also to be considered new for the European flora. At regional scale, we have found 18 taxa new for the Campania and 15 new for the Basilicata region. Finally, 10 taxa were confirmed for Campania. Data obtained during this study, confirmed the important role of a collaborative approach among botanists and the great relevance of these territories for plant diversity
